Our firm’s philosophy and culture encourages a balance between work, family and community. Community involvement is a key component of a balanced lifestyle and a way that we as professionals, can contribute in a meaningful manner.
Partners and staff alike are active in the Winnipeg and surrounding rural community in a variety of ways, including community fund-raising, involvement at the Board level and financial support for scholarships and bursaries.
As a collective team, we have contributed our time and expertise as board members of:
- Manitoba Theatre for Young People
- Prairie Theatre Exchange
- Vesatech Industries Ltd., one of the largest sheltered employment and support organizations for persons with mental disabilities in Manitoba
- Tuxedo Community Centre
- Southdale Recreation Association
- Crime Stoppers Winnipeg
- Ecole Noel Ritchot School Board
- Les Toupies Childrens Day Care
Our team members have also contributed to community in a number of other ways, including:
- Community Fundraising events
- Coach St. Adolphe Soccer and Baseball teams
- Involvement in the SIKH Community
- Volunteering for fall suppers, organizing and serving hot lunches at the school, volunteer parent liaison and tournament coordinator
- Volunteer member of committee to restore community park (Annual Cheyenne Days Fair)
- Volunteer to prepare and fill local church and charity returns
- Volunteer at McKenzie Clearwater Fire Hall
- Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Winnipeg
We have also made financial contributions to create legacy funds for bursaries and scholarships at:
- University of Winnipeg leadership
- CPA Manitoba Foundation
- Prairie Theatre Exchange new playwrite’s fund
